Growing up in a small town with a priority on family values didn't lead me to suspect that one day I would turn into a "city boy" or the "techie" that I am told I have become. Although the small town of Crandon provided me with an amazing childhood, I knew that I would find new and exciting places to live. After what seemed to be several hundred years of college, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with an Art major and a certificate in education. I began my teaching carreer with a part-time position in Wisconsin Dells before landing a full time elementary art position for the School District of Wisconsin Rapids in 2007. And ever since...here I am. I am enjoying being a homeowner, I have met many amazing friends and co-workers, and I still like to travel back "home" every now and then. My small yorki-poo named Picasso is quite a handful but he keeps me company and is always ready to play when I walk in from a long day at school. I have just recently completed my Masters of Education through Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. It is yet another goal that I can mark off the bucket list! When I am not at school, I enjoy making my own fused glass art, spending time with family, and traveling. I have traveled all around the United States and Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Hawaii, and Alaska, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, and Germany. I will be visiting Spain and France in the Summer of 2017.
